Our History

Arsalan Mahmood opened the first location of what would become United West in Calgary, AB, in the summer of 2016, having moved from Ontario by way of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Two of Arsalan’s promoted managers, Peiyao and Abdullahi, launched our second location in Edmonton, AB.

As the Alberta market was growing rapidly, it was time to expand west, launching off a location in Vancouver, BC.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, despite multiple lockdowns, United West saw its highest revenue year to date. We also expanded further east, opening a location in Winnipeg, MB.

After seeing the growth in both management and revenues, Abdi, Ghassan and a team of managers and leaders began our expansion into Ontario, opening Locations in North York and Ottawa

United West launched its third Ontario location In Mississauga, with Arsalan making the move from Alberta. We officially branded three of our locations, Mississauga, Edmonton and Calgary with the United West branding

Our founding partners Arsalan Mahmood and Abdullahi Jr Egal were officially promoted to National and Regional Consultant respectively after another record breaking year
